Our knowledgeable team has developed a reputation for high-end quality work across the South End of Whidbey Island. In 2025 we merged the landscaping business with our nursery business to increase our offerings and conduct business under the Venture Out name with a retail location to provide personalized service to our customers.
Birth of the Nursery
Venture Out Nursery opened in 2017 to highlight how we can complement the natural landscapes of the island. The trails and tranquil setting, including mature trees, large pond, stream, rain garden, rockeries, and water wheel, offer inspiration and a sense of our approach to creating beautiful, natural spaces.
Venture Out Nursery is conveniently located on beautiful South Whidbey Island, at the corner of the Highway 525 and Maxwelton Road. The nursery has become the go-to plant nursery for quality plants, expert gardening advice and personalized shopping.
We offer a wide variety of trees, conifers, shrubs, perennials, pollinators and annuals and a large selection of native plants. Come walk the botanical garden-like property and trails and enjoy our mature trees, large pond, stream, rain garden, rockeries, and water wheel. We know you will be inspired!
